mysteries and love stories served Southern style

Travels

I used to travel a lot. I’ve clambered to the top of the Great Pyramid, stood in the shadow of the Sphinx, contemplated Tut’s gold sarcophagus in the Cairo museum, gazed out over Athens from the Acropolis, touched the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, trod the ancient streets of Ephesus, climbed to the castle of the Knights of St. John on Rhodes, shopped for love charms along the Street of the Witches in La Paz and for leather jackets in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, been serenaded with “Cielito Lindo” in a Sri Lankan hotel garden, studied in Oxford and Paris. According to the Where I’ve Been application on my Facebook page, I’ve visited 14 percent of the globe. That’s a lot of world left to explore.

Under construction. When I scan the photos, this page will chronicle some of my adventures abroad.  Stay tuned.
